All parents of NSMS students are members of the parent board. Your participation is fundamental to the success of NSMS and you are encouraged to get involved and participate in board activities. The NSMS board meetings are attended by parents, teachers, and administrative staff. Decisions affecting the school, including everything from tuition to teachers' salaries to social events, are voted upon at the meetings. Any parent who attends three out of five consecutive meetings is entitled to vote at the meetings. Agenda topics are subject to change.

All parent board meetings include the school's financial status, a report from the principal, and reports from the social, fundraising, marketing, welcoming commitees.
